My Asus G1 is still running with a copy of Vista Ultimate and is running remarkably well for an old laptop. Too bad the battery is crap, now. And expensive to replace! That is so annoying.

Adam, can we have crayon321's comment "disappeared"?

There is that.

I wish people were more willing to install updates but alas. People don't do it then Microsoft gets bad press because people using unpatched software have bad things happen.

I concur!

Ah, and to just think when it'll be your information on the internet when some crazy fucker wants to off you because of this. /thumbs up

Thank you for condescension. People who aren't web developers have no say in personal web browsing situations. Cuz' they're stupid with how hard the web site was to design because of IE. And making wrong assumptions about strangers on the internet. Bravo! Keep digging your own hole.

With Windows 8 it will force a user off and update itself by default. It usually gives two days of warning and then an update like an hour before hand.

I could be wrong, but I don't think many women would willingly sign away their rights to go after a deadbeat father. In this instance they clearly had documentation stating he was only to be a sperm donor and not a father. It just wasn't signed off on by a medical professional and I fail how to see there is a huge

But my comment is about people's personal browsing experiences.

So they have aggregated casts you can browse? DoggCatcher seems steep, price wise. I've only paid that much for Tasker.

Pretty much, yeah. But that doesn't mean the company needs to stick to XP and IE8.

Well, according to the article:

So, this guy has to pay child support but if things had gone through a clinic he'd not have to?

I wouldn't mind a true Linux OS for the phone. Whether or not Verizon allows it is another story.

To go along with my other post, what you're demonstrating is Developer's Arrogance. I'll go so far to say in some ways trying to use recent standards is a pain for IE because its development cycle is in years where FF and Chrome update almost weekly (slight exaggeration). But IE10 is the most standards compliant IE

The unknown reasons are "if we introduce anything new it could break things and suddenly we have to go to every workstation and put out tiny fires all over the organization". Essentially, if it doesn't appear broken we're not fixing it. Trust me, I know how that goes, sadly. You have to use finances as a leverage

Then this article is another way to try and get your company to update. If you can convince them that there could be a negative financial impact due to using vulnerable internet browers, hopefully that works in getting updates!

I found this like in '02 after browsing the nets for AMP styled music videos. Someone had put together a block of music they had recorded via their VCR at the time and this video was in the middle of that block. It was a bad copy but it got me searching for it like mad and when I found it, bliss was had.
