I don't think it will change. The government likes this public shaming. It further helps criminalize people and keeps others in fear of the law. Which keeps people from activities such as protesting. Lately our government is doing a right bang up job of keeping people from assembling peacefully.

However you vote for, as long as you feel you're making the right choice, that's what matters. Where I live my vote doesn't count. But I do vote. I just don't think it does anything.

Or you can just rant about it like over at Gawker.

I'm not 100% certain voting always helps. If you're in an overwhelmingly blue/red state and you are on the opposite side, your vote is wasted. That's why "swing states" are so important to whomever is running for office. They are the only places where voting matters.

Wasn't he also a rabid cheater in the COD games? Besides, if he had any brains he'd realized trying to have the fastest connection in MW3 actually hurt his game. Being host = forced host lag to negate the advantage of being host.

I, for one, feel Dotcom did something illegal. He willing turned a blind eye to and encouraged piracy with money and financially gained from it. However, I do not feel he is some kingpin that deserves the level of bullshit being thrown at him. And I do not blame New Zealand for this. I blame my own government for

Yeah, I'm glad I grabbed the GNex when I did. I won't be buying this particular Nexus.

It is not okay and I would not use the phone if they gave it to me, for free.

This made me giggle. All it did for me was actually speed up the subvocalization in my head to chipmunk speeds. Sure, I read it faster.. but hehehehe squirrel

That's why Microsoft has to buy an advertisement to show people it isn't as bad as they think it is.

You can pry IE9 from my dead cold partition. :)

Thank you for the clarification. Now I don't have to do it.

Freedom and options are awesome, aren't they!

I'm saying if you left your front door wide open and were robbed, you are culpable for not ensuring you didn't at least raise the barrier to better prevent the theft. In no way am I claiming the thief isn't responsible for his actions. He deserves his jailtime, it was wrong what he did. But you're also responsible

I understand it just fine. I'm not the one with a thick-skull trying to compare this with things much worse.

What I'm saying is Juvi isn't the only one at fault. /facepalm

What part of prescription lenses was unclear? They ARE prescription lenses. http://www.gunnars.com/rx/

I'm not blaming anyone who protects their info. It is those who use 12345 as their passwords and then expect Company X to protect their account. It is your job to use a better password. It is your job to not use the same username and password everywhere. We still do it. That's the problem.

I didn't watch it. I know that isn't the in the scope of the question, but seriously how could anyone watch it? I read the articles about it this morning and was overwhelmed by meer aura of the debate. It smelled like BS from a mile awhile from both candidates.

Shhh. People will equate you blaming the mother to victim shaming and then rape.
