Microsoft made the mistake of releasing an xbox without a hard drive at all. Of course this complicates things for the consumer and when you get these incompatabilities, customers start raging.

There is no way this will be free. As others have said and I am simply reiterating - in the end you will pay. Whether that be for the game itself, items within the game, subscriptions to services, intrusive advertisements, in the end you will pay.
