Ah, yes. The Subaru before Subaru was Subaru.

Holy nostalgia. I had a cousin that was a good 10 years older than me. He was of driving age when I was in grade school circa early 2000s.

This may be unrelated and anecdotally related to your air travel comment. I am still extremely hesitant to make business trips via air travel. I have made 8 hour drives to plants that I would otherwise fly for. I would rather inconvenience myself with driving, compared to catching rona on a 737 and bringing it home to

I have a real soft spot for ZJs. This was my first car:

Welcome to the mind of a hoarder. Planning, acquiring, trading, but never doing jack. He had enough parts to build multiple FDs, and he let the two he had waste away.

I honestly had no idea this was a Ford thing. We use the snot out of the keyless entry on our Fusion and F-150. Honestly, the keys never leave my truck. Makes for one less thing to keep track of.

Christ that is ugly

The costs of being a private pilot seem astonishing. I’ve always dreamed of getting into GA, but it seems like the costs are for someone in a different tax bracket than me.

Can confirm. Even at the peak of the food shortages, I was never worried about myself or my wife. My son was 6 months old in March. We were going to the store 3-4 times per week looking for formula. We were able to keep up, but we never had more than one spare container. With how hard we had to work to get that

What this tells me is that the problems are extremely based on locality.

I’m convinced there are people out there with 10,000 rounds of 22LR. Either that, or they shut down the production lines in 2012.

I’ve resorted to the Fire Department analogy to get through to my conservative family members:

I bet you’re fun at parties.

Since you said you aren’t following the Terminator Cobra market, this is actually an extremely well priced Cobra. They are rarely under 20k.

Agreed. Hate the wheels, hate the color, but the harsh reality is that clean Terminators are going for 20-25k all day long. I don’t see them depreciating any further either.

To those in the know, Nelson Racing Engines engineered this motor from the ground up. They are the kings of mild mannered, high boost street engines. Really neat to see them gain this added credibility.

The flat plane 5.9 in the Tuatara is a home grown motor by Nelson Racing Engines. They are on of the premier, “spare no expense” performance shops in the world. They’ve been making 1,500+hp mild mannered street engines for years.

I struggle with the fact that it’s hard to even know what to do.

I’ve always thought the Espirit was basically a budget F355. Some day. Some day.
