That’s terrible. I live in a fairly nice area in New Orleans, but there really is no escaping the crime. A kid was shot out in the street in front of my house last year. I didn’t get up close and personal like you but I couldn’t sleep for days. It was like, the middle of the day. Broad daylight. I had a lot of trouble…

There is nothing like giving your child a perfect day. As a mother, especially, if your kid is young, it’s like the after-glow from good sex. You just feel contented with yourself and the world! So lovely!

I am learning Tai Chi! Yang style short form. It’s way more difficult than I thought it would be, but I’m getting it. And I LOVE it. :)

I paid off all of my unsubsidized school loans this week! Just cut my load in half and I haven't graduate college yet. Feeling really good about that!
