Many times they don’t realize what oils are used in the kitchen. I’m allergic to coconut. I’ve had bad reactions due to cross contamination before.

I’m allergic to coconut and coconut oils, etc. They are used heavily in many Asian cuisines. After several scary reactions, I’ve given up Thai food completely. Most places aren’t very good about cross contamination.
