Which he didn't, or hasn't.

Sorry, yes I was (the "see more" didn't load for me apparently)

Yes, this is one of those moments where I can think back on it almost a decade later and still get goosebumps like the very first time seeing it. There are only a handful of moments in all of TV that have that kind of staying power.

When Silent Hill makes complete sense it's being done wrong.

Wait, so people like Shoot Em Up now??

That's the best possible outcome

That's how you get Ebola

"wealthy billionaires" as opposed to…… ?

Yeah, the RT flaw.
"eh, it was alright I guess" = FRESH!!! 100%!!!!!! TO THE TOP MOTHERFUCKER

Umbrellas of Cherbourg please

But I wonder how much that is Scott vs. Wolksi (DoP) vs. VFX team. I might be selling him short here and you're right, but tough to give him all the credit.

Alien and Blade Runner are on another level sure, but after decades of 'decent' to 'shit' movies, I have to wonder if those were just flukes.

I just don't understand how anyone can still 'like' Ridley Scott at this point.

Oh it was "Good Job Internet" that alerted you? It was "Watch This" replacing articles with depth and substance for me.

And yet tons of adults have strong feelings about Ninja Turtles and Transformers adaptations… production value differences aside, they're all juvenile, ridiculous shows for children.

Yes, that's what I thought. It actually shows how little the times have changed. Someone like Ginsberg could easily fly under the radar today and while people might be more aware that he ain't all there, no one would do anything until the same moment (but really, what could you do?). Let's just be glad this is still a

I don't really understand the hatred towards this turn for Ginsberg? Remember all his odd plot points like how he believed himself to be a martian amongst other things? Everyone just turned a blind eye but it was clear something totally bizarre was going on.

Shut up! They didn't expect you to have seen anything made outside of your lifetime's pop culture bubble!

That's why they pay him the big bucks.

I liked both of those two but this is a total misfire. Abandons West's cool style and knack for humble characters and sense of 'fun' before the horror - this is just a lame VICE style doc. I find their docs obnoxious anyways, so it really didn't have a chance for me I guess.
