Rewatch the S1 episode “A Golden Crown”, especially the end, and tell me that those seeds weren’t planted from the very beginning.

Yeah the fact that Tyrion had to deliver a speech going “of course it was obvious she was going to go bad!” tells you how...not obvious it was.

Ironically it was the Unsullied who rode off into the sunset and that ending both blew and they weren't white.

The way they wrote out Stamford was atrocious.  There’s no reason they couldn’t have just continued the season and never mentioned him again and then brought it up if there’s another season.  That was absolutely awful.

If I recall from the original show...Harry was kind, funny, well off and great in bed.

My favourite performer in the entire calendar year of entertainment is Patti Harrison in her two sketches (speaking to how Tim stepped back and let other performers take the spotlight).

TABLES

Russell Brand? Where did he find the time between his ranting about the great reset and growing his beard?

She’s a proud Trump supporter, which is the worst kind.

I’m waiting for the “Evil Under the Sun” adaptation starring Chris Noth, Louis CK, and Kirstie Alley.

This might be what happens when you give fans exactly what they ask for -- no matter how ridiculous -- instead of trying to subvert their expectations.

You think the delay was caused by the writers?

Fine, but honestly I think this season was pretty damn strong.

I predate you with Python and other shows before Hill. I always find a cast member or two I enjoy of the new featured players on SNL. Aidy and Bowen are my two favorites right now, and I think Melissa is completely underused, they can’t seem to find a voice for her. The best thing about the current cast is they know

well said. i live in nyc and like alot of us, i think i caught the omicron (double vaxxed, been trying to get boosted but thats another story), so im going to have to spend x mas away from family and friends in this little box apartment. but ive been an snl watcher my entire life too, so at this point i cant not watch

Came to say that. Fuckin bone-breaking smackdowns between him and Tom Holland in this. I really think it was maybe the most crunchy fighting in any of these movies since the Winter Soldier or maybe Civil War. And it was used to tell two different emotional states: Their first big fight through the apartment building

If I had to guess, they’re probably killing two birds with one stone right by filming the next two seasons as opposed to one, so production is probably taking twice as long. I’m willing to predict seasons 3 and 4 are going to air pretty close to each other since this wait for the new season has been so brutally long.

Well put, and much better than I would have. But my thoughts exactly.

I really liked Pete’s Pete in 2054 film as well, and your bringing up Schillervision is very apt. I know the idea was for it to be a Raging Bull reference but it reminded me of early SNL Tom Schiller like that one classic Gilda Radner one that everyone loves. It’s amazing that it was made to be part of a more normal

a brief montage shows many of them dying of snake bites, wild dog attacks, and getting sick from contaminated water.
