UPDATE: Charli XCX has pulled out of the show.

I hope they are clever enough to use the fact they have limited cast for the 5 timer skit.

You guys wanted her to stop talking about it, and she did. You must be ecstatic!

This is a really weird spin on the fact that most of this stuff is shot with secrecy, that plenty of people working on these projects only know they’re working on “untitled Marvel/Star Wars project,” and just do the work with the pages they’re given. It’s very typical.

The number of people who are like “Well, I know a lot about him/his relationship.” and then “what they know” are just stories from his act.

I had forgotten all about Cooper getting absolutely shitty on like three shots last year.  His uncontrollable giggle fit was priceless.

Is drinking on television just getting to be a thing now?
Do I sound a bit like a Carrie Nation?

Steve deserves better. Miranda’s put him through so much shit and they’ve been trying to pull character assassination so she’s in the right.

Sexless too. Poor Steve.

why have the relegated Hot Steve to a terrible “deaf” arc. WTF?

“Boy, who knew Murray was so into auto-erotic asphyxiation?”

Well, since they’ve decided to make Steve into a decrepit old deaf dude, apparently Miranda will have to get her kicks elsewhere.

The big weakness of modern Doctor Who is almost certainly its lack of variety. Classic Doctor Who has its faults, true, but a lack of variety isn’t one of them. Modern Doctor Who, however, feels very samey; the show can’t seem to find a way to move on from milking as much drama as possible from the Doctor being The

Yes.  Soaps (even prime time soaps) are obviously a different animal.  Most shows, though.....

Cause everyone is a walking stereotype of the worst parts of people who look like them?

Desi Arnaz is almost single-handedly responsible for reruns. He saw the value in keeping the original kinescopes of the show, when TV executives at the time didn’t see value in re-airing a show that had already broadcast. This one bit of foresight is what the Desilu empire was built on.

remember when shows did 24 episodes a season?! And sometimes remained very good throughout? It wasn’t constant, but it happened

Not to be cruel, I love her as an actress....but “I can’t figure what’s going on” has sort of been the working description of Nicole Kidman’s face for the past decade or so.

I don’t think the accents were the problem, it was that neither remotely resemble Lucy or Desi.

So what we have is a movie made despite the instincts of the people who made it? That’s a real vote of confidence.
