The destruction of the working class wasn’t caused by printing money, it was caused by destroying the power of unions and cutting taxes on the wealthy, allowing them to accumulate more wealth at the expense of the people who work.

This is why I have always treated Kickstarter as patronage of the arts, and not as a preorder, at least when it comes to digital goods that haven’t been made yet.
The Pokemon multiverse is hinted at by the Ultra Beasts in S&M, which come from weird alternate realities, but it was the next games Ultra S&M that confirmed the existence of alternate “normal” realities. Team Rainbow Rocket is made of the team leaders from universes where the villains won: Giovanni took over the…
Conservative ideology is incompatible with liberty. American Libertarians (the party) hate liberty. Their idea of liberty is doing bad things (like dumping toxic waste in a river, or DWI) without being held accountable.
I was just going by how they are presented in the movie, but I can think of a couple of reasons:
He was an absolute weirdo, but unlike Edison he actually did science and engineering instead of theater, and I think a lot of Tesla’s popularity is because he was the underdog against the much more famous Edison.

Mario is nothing compared to Pokemon, the most profitable franchise of all time, which Nintendo owns approximately half of (it’s complicated, basically A B and C all own an equal share of D, but A also owns half of B and a small chunk of C).
Are you talking revenue or profit? Nintendo makes about $6 billion in profit annually. I can’t find any profit info on Microsoft’s gaming division other than Phil Spencer constantly telling people “XBox is profitable guys”.
Or, the mod removes gender neutral pronouns, but secretly drops your charisma by half, to reflect the kind of person who would mod a game because of pronouns.
Kicking nazis out of your club doesn’t mean you’re thin skinned. It means you don’t want to be part of a nazi club.
Nothing disturbing about it. It’s funny when bad things happen to bad people.
In other words, insider trading is legal if you do it far enough in advance.

So was Sir Robin of Locksley. What’s your point?
