Actually, Nintendo does a decent job at ignoring the investors when they don't know what they're talking about. For example, investors have been calling for releasing the NES/SNES back catalog on smartphones for years, but they're always told, in the politest way possible, to sit down and shut up.

You drive prices up, while adding no additional value. You may not be breaking the law, but scalpers like you are morally on the same level as car salesmen.

The fact that you feel the need to write a seven paragraph defense of your profession tells me that you have some guilt about it, and that you should find a more honest line of work.

I love the Kinect. It's so bad.

There is a Kirk, but it's the reboot version, so I think "stud-free" still applies.

Or, as Miyamoto put it, "A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad."

Swatters frequently spoof their caller ID to make it look like the call is coming from inside the house. Also, they tell the police that the situation is as bad as possible: hostages, people already shot, the shooter is on drugs / suicidal / wants to kill cops, etc. It's the kind of situation where, if it was true,

It would be nice if the patent office did their jobs for once instead of approving garbage like this and letting the courts/expiration date sort it out later. At least we have Alice Corp. now to make it easier to throw things like this out.

I have a son about the same age, and I highly recommend Pikmin 3. It has a 2 player co-op mode (challenge levels only, story mode is 1 player only) and I've been trying to teach him about teamwork and planning. Still, sometimes he hogs all of the pikmin and then takes them swimming. The only problem is that he gets

I would guess that those two, along with Ralts and Honedge, are from people trying to breed competitive pokemon. Charizard has always been popular, plus his mega evolution is a beast. Froakie and his evolutionary family can have the hidden ability Protean (when using a move, he changes his type to match the move),

Or Yakety Sax

A king obsessed with building castles, to the point that he bankrupts his own country? I bet Ludwig II would have kidnapped fairies to build castles for him, too.

I have never had a Wii U update that didn't allow me to play the game while it was downloading.

No kidding.

It's weird, but for the first time in 19 years, all of the JRPGs I'm looking forward to are Nintendo exclusives (Xenoblade and Bravely Second). Sure, someday we'll get Kingdom Hearts 3, but I'll probably be able to get a PS4 for $200 by the time it comes out.

This only works for Steam sales, but if you add it to your wishlist on Steam, you will get an email whenever it goes on sale.

Of course it's staged, nobody plays Lorewalker Cho, and the only way to get that many copies of the same spell in your hand is for both players to have him out at the same time.

I can think of one game-breaking bug, but it was eventually fixed, and Nintendo's response to it was classy. Skyward Sword had a point where you are given 3 quests, which you can complete in any order. If you completed the desert quest first, the forest and mountain quests would no longer be available, and you would

You're not the only one who finds touch screens uncomfortable to use. To me, dragging my finger across the screen is the tactile equivalent to fingernails on a chalkboard.
