I listened around it, not the whole thing. sampled a few episodes to see how crazy they get. Didn't think I could actually go full start to finish.

I like the LA crime genre. My hope is that by the end of its run, this series will have a place in that canon. I'm optimistic but who knows. My gut feeling is we'll get a few kick ass episodes peppered throughout the middling but I still think better than most of the stuff on tv.

I don't get the hate - I thought it was great. Maybe not A for this episode but I thought better than B-. Maybe its me, but I just liked seeing that dad get his ass kicked for having a punk son. My biggest gripe, if any, was how convenient there were about 20 coincidences that brought everyone together.
