I’ve driven a few cars where 140+ didn’t feel particularly fast. My current car it feels more like 80, but the big clue is everything whipping by so fast. Hope she gets back to driving, and can get some sleep.

How are these defense contracts worded? If company A is contracted to build a carrier at $13 billion and it actually costs $20 billion, who pays the extra $7 billion? Is the entire burden of cost overruns on the taxpayer or does the builder take any responsibility?

Where are the normal reactions asking why she cares what her “imaginary friend” or “make believe fairy tale god” thinks? Seems like a double standard.

Great! Now I can look forward to buying the 2019 Tesla in the year 2050 when it’s gone through the FDA like approval process and it will only cost $34,000,000!

I very well might, but that was not explained in the story. I didn’t know if these kids were already living there and the blue dresses were the cause of the police being notified, or if it was the fact that they just showed up one day when they hadn’t been there in the past.

Unfortunately, yes. That’s just awful. I hope they never see the light of day.

Thanks for that. It makes more sense.

I don’t think your link is displaying properly.

revealing that he has been suffering from an eating disorder caused by a hiatal hernia for the past 10 years.

a neighbor reported him for having a suspicious number of young girls living in his house, all wearing blue dresses

I think the important part of this, as well as any legislation, is who is getting the lobbying money and campaign contributions and from what sources.

They do have a small fleet that is equipped that way. A little bit of research before complaining might have helped.

Reasonable Modifications/Accommodations

They expect all private individuals to install wheelchair ramps or lifts on their vehicles? That’s a ridiculous thing to require for private contractors. It’s not even possible on the vast majority of vehicles.

Does the mother get any credit for Steve Jobs’ ethnicity or just his father? Freddie Mercury was Parsi. They are ethnically Persian, genius. If you weren’t so concerned with calling people names, maybe you could actually try reading, so you don’t sound so uninformed.

Get over yourself. You were wrong about two famous people’s ethnicities. You are hardly an authority after those blunders. I guess since you put “people” in quotes, you don’t think some are deserving of being human.

I didn’t say New Jersey was an ethnicity. I was pointing out that your characterization of Steve Jobs as an “Arab” was flawed. I think people care more about his accomplishments than his genes. The same goes for Freddie Mercury. They picked someone who resembles him to play him in his biopic, and you seem upset

This is a good recap of the case. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/14/arts/music/14kell.html
Some of the highlights include:
1. It was a conspiracy to extort money and R. Kelly was the real victim.
2. The tape was a fake and they used computers to create a fake R. Kelly like in Jurassic Park.
3. Someone hired prostitutes

Well if you can’t believe a guy who pees on a naked 14 year old on tape, who can you believe?

Who are you to tell me how my gender should behave? Stop being a micro-aggressing, cis-gendered, shitlord!

Steve Jobs’ father was Syrian and his mother was from New Jersey. Do we really have to find someone with the exact genetic makeup of the character to play someone in the movies now to not offend someone?
