This is a perfect illustration of my point. Obama is still being dragged like he didn’t try.

Honestly, when so much of the immediate change will be dependent on executive action; I’m more confident in a law professor who specialized in consumer law making those changes in ways to protect them from the next Republican to take office.
I was thinking this exact thing the other day. I like Bernie - he’s my second choice, probably. But like...guys....if you think he can live up to the expectations you’re placing upon him...even if we win EVERY questionable Senate seat and the House...guys....it’s not going to turn out like you think. (Personally, this…
Perhaps I’ve been too scarred by the false hope of the Obama years, when so much optimism and excitement and energy quickly curdled and went sour after candidate Obama became President Obama, and he abandoned the grassroots campaign that had powered his victory.
Co-sign. I am also in the “Not a fan of Sanders, would never in a million years would vote for him in the primary, but would GLADLY vote for him in November.”
Lest the following comment be seen as too harsh, I want to note first that although Bernie is not my first pick, I’d gladly vote for him in November if he’s the nominee, and I voted for him last time in the primary. That said:
“While Paula admired Elizabeth Warren and agreed with her much-vaunted plans, “It’s like it’s…
I agree 100%. The point is to give each voter equal weight, not each state. Anything other than a national primary is non-democratic.
I am here for both your comment, as well as the one you were responding to.

I think they prefer alt-write now
hmmm yessss I wonder what COULD it be that made that 2016 caucuses so awful?
I went to one in 2008, and my experience was as you described. Having looked at the platforms of both Clinton and Obama, I thought we would be good with either one. I’m so glad the primary replaced the caucus, and the primary was moved to March 10.
I clearly remember telling my wife (a white woman), “I can’t believe a black man became president before a white woman” and she said flatly, “a woman will never be president.”
I regretfully have to agree. Pretty much every other modern nation has had a woman as president/prime minister. I think this is a result of the fact that most of the colonial period laws and traditions were mostly based off of extremist far right evangelical Christianity norms. So misogyny runs deep in the US and it's…
It’d be hilarious if it weren’t so sad. You’re 100% right. The same “woke” bros who were saying “I’m not SEXIST because I don’t like Hillary I’d TOTALLY vote for ELIZABETH WARREN” in 2016 are now tearing her down every chance they get.
This. Don’t group her (or even AOC for that matter) with Bernie on issues of identity/race.
I think half the reasons this dog pack is so down for AOC is that she hasn’t had time to accomplish anything big yet. She’s still the blank slate of Hot Young Politician without any of that annoying “I need you to give up an iota of your privilege so women and kids don’t starve to death” stuff on her resume.
I don’t disagree but.... Warren is also a septugenerian
You can’t “appeal” to Biden voters because the only reason people are attracted to Biden is because his name recognition and his connection to Obama. Dude, you’ve kind of been burying yourself in really aloof electoral/primary opinions as of late and none of your past predictions have come anywhere near to fruition.
