I’m hoping that the Klobuchar supporters, when it become clear that she won’t meet the threshold at the Iowa caucus will migrate to Warren. That could be a game changer, and a lot of voters aren’t picking candidates strictly on ideology. Which is why a lot of Bernie supporters’ second choice is Biden and vice versa.

LOL.

I don’t think it’s useless. Of course it would have been better if Warren was endorsed outright. She won the vote count by the editorial board over Klobuchar. So not endorsing Warren outright was a cop out. That being said, Warren has been under attack from all sides; so it’s a welcome development that she is getting

I read “Dead Wake” by Eric Larson about the sinking the of the Lusitania. It took a while to build up to it, but in the end it was very interesting.

BOOK THREAD!

Those signs need to be displayed as they really are or not at all. Otherwise this isn’t an archive and that isn’t history; it’s vanity.

I’m still convinced that you are a joke account posting sarcastic comments.

I think it would be incredibly offensive for the NYT to endorse a mayor of a small city over the much more experienced and qualified candidates. It reeks of white male privilege if they do so, imho.

I’ve been hearing rumblings that the endorsement is going to Warren. I could be wrong. We will see. Not that it really matters to voters one way or another.

The only reason why Obama chose him as VP was because he appealed to the older white racist Dems that share Biden’s views and who would not otherwise vote for Obama.

I’d vote for 3 day old road kill over Trump

Are you being sarcastic?

He’s so fucking problematic and really, really dumb.

Most American catholics are cafeteria catholics; they have long since learned to ignore the parts of the church’s teachings that don’t suit their modern sensibilities.

Make no mistake. This is another symptom of the Trump malignancy. Because Trump was elected; the ugly underbelly of society was exposed and now the democratic party, in their fear that the cancer has spread to other parts of the body politic, have decided that we can’t “risk” the candidate they might actually want to

I mean, just a few years ago we chased a senator out for pretending to grab a sleeping woman’s chest. For pretending to do something bad.

I agree with you analysis.

I am aware that the senate will not convict him under any circumstances, but I still feel it’s important to expose ALL of the corruption; not just the tip of it.

That’s the point though; the senate won’t do their job.  So it was up to the House to conduct not just an investigation but a trial.  So that the evidence is overwhelming and far reaching.  Instead, they did so fast that we did not interview key witnesses; and the Lev Parnas interview makes it clear that we haven’t

Did you listen to the Lev Parnas interview last night on Rachel Maddow (part one; part two is tonight)?
