The motion is on the table that Julian Castro be nominated as Elizabeth Warren’s Vice President.

I know! I’ve been calling for a Warren/Castro ticket for 6 months. I suspected that he was at the top of her list when I saw them interact after the debates; she would go across the stage and hug him.

The timing has to do with the impeachment trial and a way to get it out of the news. If you know anything about Trump; you know that he cares first and foremost about his own interests. Which is why articles of impeachment were passed, despite republicans complete abrogation of their constitutional responsibilities.

What they all have in common though is a hatred of American military imperialism; so I wouldn’t put it past various groups to attack military bases and military targets, not necessarily in coordination, because clearly they hate each other, but in seeing an opportunity to weaken American targets at the same time from…

And it’s working. There has already been another attack in Kenya in which 3 Americans were killed (one service member and 2 defense contractors).

Sounds interesting.  Have you read “The Age of Miracles” by Karen Thompson Walker?  That’s another one where a suburban neighborhood (and the country) is thrown into chaos when something happens to the rotation of the earth.

I read Wilder Girls too and I totally agree; it had the makings of a really good story but stopped short. It started out better than it ended. I mean, if it was book 1 of a trilogy, maybe, because then the story could develop, but it just didn’t get there.

I have not read “Famous Men Who Never Lived”;  I will look into it.  And Erin Morgenstern is on my list of must reads that I haven’t gotten to yet.  Thanks!
