Buttigieg is being propped up by Iowa and New Hampshire; he doesn’t have the staying power to do well beyone those rural white states.

 The media responds to who has momentum in the almost exclusively white rural states of Iowa and New Hampshire.  Who qualifies for the debates is based on polling in those white states.  So yeah, it’s bullshit that those two states go first.
