Ermagherd. Must watch.
Ermagherd. Must watch.
I feel a kinship with this girl. I have a pretty toxic family and a horrible sister in particular. I opted not to have anyone walk with me when I got married, and my dad was SO pissed. Although he told me through third parties because that’s part of how his toxicity works. He hadn’t been in my life much in 15 years.
Honestly, I doubt she was that keen on her father attending in the first place. From what I’ve read, she doesn’t have much of a relationship with him at all and doesn’t really see him and her mother is the parent she’s close to. I doubt they’re trying to convince him to come and I doubt she and Harry are ‘devastated’.
I already kinda suspected this when her half-sister who barely knows her was making the rounds about some book with a mean title? (‘Princess Pushy’ or similar, can’t be bothered to google rn.) Family drama is hard enough to navigate gracefully and MM has to do it in the context of A ROYAL WEDDING. Bless her and good…
Yesterday it was all over the place that he was kicked out of the wedding for selling pictures of himself to the paparazzi and now the story is this? What a difference a day makes.
I have to work :( but I saw commercials for the wedding special on HBO with Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon and will definitely be recording it.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tie the knot in Westminster Abbey
Somewhat off topic, but NINE?!?! How many people does it take to write a goddamn song? It’s cool when people collaborate, but this is something else.
It comes across to me at least, that she now thinks she’s pissed off LGBTQIA+ folk and is attempting to cover her ass.
Also, I want to add that I support Rita’s bisexuality, if that’s how she chooses to identify, but that doesn’t excuse her from criticism. Another reason this song has rankled so many people is that, be it her personal experience with her sexuality or not, it feels very far removed from the wlw community. She describes…
Horrible song, why did I click.
Who?
Man, I wish you’d done more research for this article and worded this differently to present LGBT women as having valuable voices rather than framing the criticisms of queer artists as drama. A huge reason why bisexual and otherwise gay women are pissed at Rita is that she gave a world salad nonsense of an interview…
I don’t care about this film so much, but you really should add a spoiler warning for those that do.
I thought Charlize was amazing and I hope the Academy remembers this film next January.
