I think the two best social media movies I’ve seen are John Cho’s ‘Searching’ and Aubrey Plaza’s ‘Ingrid Goes West’. Aubrey is genuinely good in the latter, plus you get to see her in her underwear, a t-shirt, and a Catwoman mask. It really is a good movie over and above that, though, I promise.

Probably because LGBTQ people are just like everyone else, and a whole lot of other people besides LGBTQ people like superheroes too. LGBTQ people might like them for different reasons based on who they are themselves as a person, but that’s true for just about anything.

I enjoy how in the opening credits of this version of ‘Skinner & The Superintendent’, there are scenes from their previous adventures. One of which involves them riding a merry-go-round, another being stalked by a giant snake, and yet another in which Skinner is piloting an X-Wing.
