Yep on the “food issues were just seen as some laziness but are actually something that should have been dealt with”. My daughter is incredibly picky, which was a shock to us bc our older son and younger child eat pretty much everything. Turns out she also has some mysterious GI issue that has caused her reflux since

I have done something like this. I cracked one of my molars from grinding and clenching and ended up with a root canal b/c the nerve was kind of inflamed. Every time I went to the dentist I complained about jaw pain and it was always, nothing is wrong except you grind your teeth. The root canal helped a bit.

I thought the Poison Ivy you were referring to was that terrible Batman movie when Arnold Schwarzenegger was Mr. Freeze and I was very confused about Tom Skerritt bending Drew over anything.

I just donated all of our Curious George books b/c they are pretty awful and I just refuse to read them anymore. And they are too long. It was so freeing.

If this show was live action, it would be R rated for the violence. There is regular robot torture going on...which I continue to let me kids watch b/c I can’t stand one more episode of Some Assembly Required.

I think we have the same kid. My middle child (9 yrs old) is very picky. She’ll eat protein (salmon! shrimp! nuts! edamame! eggs! as long as there is no sauce on any of it), waffles, chocolate, and peanut-butter nutella sandwiches but won’t eat fruit, veggies, or almost anything else. It turns out she has some kind of

I think she’s left him and she’s on a yacht in the middle of the Mediterranean somewhere.

Ooo, those look great. I’ve been swearing by bike shorts for a few years now but only have black ones, which doesn’t work that well for lighter skirts.

Not rare. I am also an adult woman and I do not have decorative pillows around. I do have pillows on the couch but that’s bc the couch is my favorite napping place and I need a pillow for naps (or for sleeping in the middle of the night when children have thrown up and can’t be in their own beds). All pillows must

Wouldn’t the big numbers in the beginning be more about people checking it out and nostalgia than whether the show is going to be popular? For a show like this, I can’t imagine anyone really thought those numbers would stay. I feel like every review I read was someone saying they checked it out for curiosity’s sake.

I just read it and I’m not sure I’ve read a collection that stayed with me like this in a long time. Just incredible.

If your only take on something is racist and dumb, you should keep your mouth shut. Good for this kid for getting in to all those schools.

Because you apply to a bunch of school in the hopes you get in. I applied to 15 or 20 schools and that was 25 years ago. The acceptance rates look even worse now. Why is this even a question?

The Philadelphia School District sent out a similar letter, saying basically that no students would be punished for walking out and it’s important for kids to be be part of these protests. My kids’ middle school walked out and the principal took pictures and posted them on social media (in a good way!). Philly has a

Yes. I’ve tried to get mainly female cats b/c all of the male cats I’ve had have been way too needy. The female cats I’ve had have generally been apprproiately friendly yet aloof, which is my preferred cat.

I am 99% with you except for the burgundy. That’s a good color for me. But the cold shoulders- stop! I moved to Taiwan recently and while shopping I was devastated to find that cold shoulders are a thing here! Though not as much as in the US. Make it stop. I hate picking up a cute shirt only to find it is a cold

When I was a kid, the obnoxious neighbor kids would try to insult my best friend by telling her she was Puerto Rican. She was Greek. It was a weird insult.

I’m in Taiwan where there’s Mos Burger and my favorite thing is a rice bun (literally rice shaped into a pattie) with teriyaki mushrooms and a piece of seaweed in btwn. It’s really good.

It opened in Taiwan on Tuesday and I took my son and a friend. Place was packed and there were about 20 showings. I think it will do awesome in Asia if one country is any indication. And it was amazing.

I was trying to explain to my 11 yr old and my 7 year old the difference btwn a burn, shade, and trolling. I’ve been using this as a resource. Thank you for your contribution to educating today’s youth.
