I thought the soundscape was so interesting in that film. And how the violence has a real weight and heft to it. The rain soaked denouement was classy as hell.

I agree with you that Timeless feels very much fucked with, but Kripke is underrated and the talent on screen is great. I also wish it was better - but it has moments when it reminds me of the GREAT 1st season Sleepy Hollow.

Everyone is amazing on Rectify. I've been saving the last season to watch with this one because it is so darn beautiful.

I really like it - I wish it was three years into its run and I could binge it, but it's really fun. I think it'll get better too.
