The jokes were bad, but the lack of giving any shits about the non-European cultures they featured is what gets me. Just a little bit of research could have brought some really fun and interesting challenges. Instead we get fucking tacos for Mexican week because the clods running this show can’t be bothered to even do

Counterpoint - international theme weeks are a brilliant idea that were terribly executed, and cutting them rather than learning how to do it right is the lazy coward’s route.

When are the diesel generators used? My guess is that its surge capacity only . Can you imagine what kind of a load 98 EV’s charging would take? Even if we assume a relatively slow charging rate of 100 KW you are talking about 10 MEGAWATTS of power. Allow me to illustrate 10 megawatts of solar.

NASCAR will just keep racing these cars that have nothing to do with the showroom with huge pushrod V8s that aren’t remotely relevant in today’s vehicles.

In other words: Europeans understand the concept of personal and social responsibility.

Europeans have a much stronger sense of duty to society than most everyone in the US.  In the US the belief is that society has a duty to the individual.

I read that as “New Jersey is an insufferable place to live. Not having to pump my own gas is the sole reason I choose to live in an overcrowded state, with cold winters, short summers, rude people, high taxes, bad traffic, and strict vehicle inspections. If I have to pump my own gas, I can live in some other state

Oregon was one of the last states in the U.S. that allowed drivers to pump their own gas. But after the recent passage of a bill by Oregon state lawmakers, that changed, and Oregonians can finally pump their own gas.”

Absolutely ridiculous. I remember getting stuck on the Jersey turnpike in a line of 6 cars which took almost a half hour to get through due to the languid pace of the attendants. After that, we made it a practice to gas up in CT or MD so we wouldn’t end up in that mess again.

1. Don’t

1 and only rule of taking your dog to a restaurant:

Yes, we should hear Patrick out. We should also understand that it’s entirely possible she holds limiting beliefs about women generally, or that what she understands as a “masculine” mindset could instead be more accurately called a “competitive” mindset.

You can get a tesla model 3 for 32k after the federal rebate. Thats the cost of a camry. There is nothing unique about EV’s when it comes to data. What you are saying makes no sense

As a responsible boat owner, Boats vs. Haulover is like watching and waiting for an expensive train wreck to occur.

Yeah that’s the norm down here in don’t-tell-ME-what-to-do 😡 Florida. The same folks riding on two wheels sans helmet. To give an extreme example, I work on a military base and helmets are mandatory. Getting off base one day, I saw a Harley rider pull over into a holding lot specifically to take his helmet off and

My Dad once owned a Dodge Diplomat, he complained so much about how horrible that car was that I’ve never been able to consider a Dodge product without seriously second guessing the reliability. He would see a Dodge and then talk about that terrible Dodge he once owned, he was still complaining until he died in 2019.

The leaf has worked for many with far less range...  I would argue most household with two adults have two cars (at least those who consider buying a new car) so it could work for them

Young people eat garbage. It isn’t a generational thing. You either age out of eating onion blossoms or have a well attended funeral.

I don’t think anyone ever claimed that GenZ has good taste.
