Pulling a gun on someone with the intent to scare them is pretty much illegal in most states. I’m sure nothing will happen here but that’s clearly a crime by his own admission.

I feel like projects are only really a problem if they’ve done something really odd to the drivetrain, and if it costs a lot. This seems cheapish and if something goes wrong, you can take it to a mechanic and they can fix it just as if it were any other Veloster.

Electric turbo is still hooked up to the exhaust like a regular turbo is. Being able to electrically power it reduces or eliminates turbo lag, and then energy can be harvested from it when decelerating since the exhaust gases are still spinning the impeller.
