Yeah, it’s a miracle it’s not just straight up gold, with a few little bushings installed on the top side of the wings for golf tees so he can try to show off to world leaders by giving them a half-assed Alan Shepard moment.

Toyota tried to tell the world that the plural of Prius was Prius, and everyone laughed and laughed...

No, and no (because plague)/no (because plague)/fuck yes (not even because plague but also because plague)

The maximum exterior dimensions are almost irrelevant. The hoods and beds are higher, which makes visibility worse for anyone who might have had a prayer of seeing over the older ones. The increased popularity of crew cabs, and near-universal application of window tint even makes it worse for those who have given in

My company makes a bunch of parts for the Rav4.  I enjoy the work, but it’s soul-crushing knowing what I’m helping Toyota inflict on the world.  Same with the new Highlander, but at least that shares a bunch of parts with the Sienna, which makes me feel a little better about it.

Put the turn signals down low so they can’t be seen, and put the headlights up high like an SUV’s so they blind car drivers at stoplights.  Brilliant!

It’s NYC. Think smaller footprint and easier parking, especially hatchbacks with their shorter rear overhangs. Corolla, iM, xB, Yaris... whatever is the smallest one that will fit their suitcases without folding the rear seats, so that there is also space for the dog.

I believe safety was also mentioned, and is probably a good feature for new drivers. Compact body-on-frame pickups and safety are rarely together in the same sentence, unless that sentence contains a big effing NO.

It’s a crossover, but not between a car and an SUV. It’s a crossover between a car and a van, which is fucking *chef’s kiss* fantastic. Tiny footprint, big boxy space, actual safety cell instead of a wet cardboard box on top of a heavy frame... It’s a mini-er minivan that sadly has to make do without cool doors.

All good suggestions 1-3 (sorry Raph). I would throw the Honda Fit, Hyundai Veloster, and Mazda2 into the ring as well. Keep things nice and stubby for parking in NYC.

Somebody on my feed suggested “Aunt Karen.”  As someone who has an Aunt Karen, who is 100% a Karen, I fully support this.

+1000 stars for recommending against stretchy fabric. I was looking for something a little less abrasive and ordered a 90% cotton, 10% spandex blend. It was plenty breathable compared to my other fabric, but it was too stretchy and sealed over my mouth, so I was only pulling though an area the size of my mouth instead

What I’m hearing is that Ford’s midsize CUV is going RWD, regardless of what they decide to call it.

Lop off the upper rear quarter of the Focus-based Bronco Sport, and that’d be a pretty good looking small pickup.

This is the kind of crossover I can fully support.

Somebody else’s car being ugly is pretty irrelevant to me. Being able to see, however, is relevant, so I appreciate the lower headlights, regardless of the running light/turn signal pod. Same with the similarly questionable Nissan Juke’s split lights. They don’t wind up pointing directly at my rearview mirror at every

I don’t particularly like the split lights like the Nissan Juke or pre-facelift Jeep Cherokee, but I really enjoy not being blinded by headlights that are all the way up at an SUV’s beltline, AKA pointed directly at my rearview mirror.  If they want to add an extra high turn signal/running light pod to stretch the

That’s an idea I hadn’t considered. I had been bouncing between

Holy shit do not make eggs and bacon while naked. I cannot stress that enough.
