Count my son and myself as fans who go to all races. We are local to Pocono and surrounding states so we are ok. NASCAR and Indy are great but count us in on an F1 date over both.

I agree. If you are local to North East PA the Elegance at Hershey is great. Gives people a chance to see really rare Ferraris (and other cars) up close.
Oh, I absolutely do not agree with overrated! Not at all. I responded to you because I felt we shared a similar sentiment having both experienced Ferraris. My brothers & I are very much Porsche, Mercedes, & BMW M fans as well, but we agree there is nothing like a Ferrari. Even with the pinnacle of other brands, MB AMGs…
I agree with him on the orginal body being more my taste as well and I certainly get what you’re saying. My brother has a couple cool Ferraris. Most notably a 5k mi F40 and yes there are few cars that can replicate the feeling they provide. It’s impossible to explain. I applaud the guys that do drive them. Over the yea…
Right! The same has often been said about a 930 turbo and an F40. My brother doesn’t drive his F40 because of this but did drive his 964 turbo. I would occasionally drive any of them and people do.
The safety features in the current Indy cars are amazing. Bravo to those engineers.
My son and I were there as well. Stunning that the driver wasn’t killed. They pretty much wear those cars aside from the open cockpit. For perspective we all looked at the pictures of my son in a car the year we sponsored one. Roughly 200mph into a fence etc... The race was such a bore after. I likened it to pulling a …
My son & I were at Pocono yesterday and we were stunned at the crash. Granted it wasn’t like this where people in the crowd took on car parts but we were so impressed with the safety of the driver cell. My son got to spend some time in the drivers seat the year we sponsored the car and it’s like you’re wearing it. We t…
As it goes, You have a friend in me. I feel I have a special relationship to your story as I said. Not to make it about me. I sure do wish you well. The invite to hang over our cars here in PA stands. I feel your pain. We wish you and your family well for what that’s worth. Your passion that has you emotional is unders…
In regards to my prior post. You want to blow off steam, come to PA, we have a lot of cool stuff. Reach out. Be well....
Hey, no problem. Not to get all that but my Dad died 28 days before I was born. I’m 47. I sense your pain. I’m also a product of family business. I work with my brother and generations prior. I wish you all the best. Blow off steam however you want! Wish you and your family well. Hang in there. Sorry I interfered.
Let’s meet over on BAT. I have about the same handle and sensibility.
Jalop articles can be soothing, comments not so much.
I’m just here for the BS but I sense maybe you’re not. Good luck my friend.
Although I think he is just reaching there as to not feel SO foolish, this is an excellent point indeed!
First +1 Urban Cowboy reference. As for the truck, I guess the heart really does want what it wants. (Dickinson, Allen, or Gomez, you decide.) But holy shit, this is worse than my exwife and all of my friends exwives combined as far as that saying goes. Some of them were awful mind you. This assaults my senses much the…
I’ve had a handful of really good college scholarship athletes work in my warehouse. Several making it deep through Eagles football camp. One in particular was recruited by NASCAR after failing to make the team. He was thrilled! The story is certainly true.
There is a Range Rover on BAT now with one stuffed in it. Its got the community quite fired up.
And I have had the car around 10yrs.
As the owner of a CL55 with, in the neighborhood of 40k mi on it, I completely agree. I follow all these cars on BAT frequently and @bruce_m is the only person you want to buy one of these from. Really great cars to drive but when the ABC goes, look out. You really need a competent mechanic. That however does NOT chang…
