Ahh velour. Nothing says ‘class’ like a Sean John baby blue velour track suit. I know because in the 1990's I wore one like Superman wore a cape after 5am in Vegas at many a bachelor party weekend. Stay classy....

Wow- put the lotion in the basket!

Was it made of wood? So often when friends of mine share experiences of two guys and their wood it’s quite different so this is refreshing. Jesus was a carpenter. Not like the people I know.

I further stand by my earlier article assessment that you should have forced the ‘mugger’ to relieve you of that car.

Wow! Great story. You should have given him the beetle and left on foot. Jokes on him then.

Oh man that video is so good! Thank you!!

Everything about this article is about 15 years late. 20 years is probably more correct. Book stores, Barns & Noble facing stiff competition from Amazon, people using the interwebs to buy cars? What is this wild world of which you speak?

I sure hope you started the PFA paperwork already Stef!

Wow! Great post. Or Father and Son. Might make you sad though.

I lost my father 28 days before I was born due to an accident. To read Jr’s quotes regarding his health in a race car after pretty much watching his father die racing really puts it into perspective. My son and I have enjoyed his career and I wish him the best. Great guy. It’s nice to hear such introspection from

Gawd damn Andrew!! Good for you! And ya I’m jealous. I guess I’m curious if I gave you the dough would you buy the 720 over say- a Porsche 991 turbo or gt3, Lambo Huracan, Ferrari 488, to live with as your one and only sports car in a three car garage with your AWD hauler and wicked sedan?

So the next logical question is how does she feel about you? Just guessing there aren’t pictures of you all around the house. With your car.

Oh shit! If that is real and you’re still aboard please take one step forward.

I don’t mind them. Had one in college- MAYDAY1. But as a close older family member used to tell me, they aren’t good because people know where you are and where you’ve been. In his defense I believe he was part of ‘la familia’ where you would rather your Cadillac just blends in with the others at the social clubs.

You’re right. I just looked and my numbers were definitely off but my theory still stands that I would probably prefer an older GT500. A guy I do some car business with has a 10k mi 2013 GT500 vert he is bringing me to see and drive. I don’t want to sell anything I have but I’m intrigued. Good luck with your search!

Yes and if you’re a Mustang enthusiast wouldn’t you just buy a low mileage 2013 or so GT500? Don’t they have 600+hp? You could probably even get a convertible for that money if you were so inclined. I know they are a bit primitive but.... Just my initial thought.

Like you (and many here) I would watch say the Ring Brothers build a car over many weeks.
