But i'm sure the bedbugs would love the views.
But i'm sure the bedbugs would love the views.
Yes it feels predatory. This is major to me, even if it doesn't matter to you. Hope you enjoy the movie.
You are comparing only the movies to the current movie, and don't see the difference in the jokes (something i disagree with but would be a matter of perspective). Sure the old films had bro tastic moments but it felt less predatory, less crude. I am curious how many one liners like this are in the upcoming movie…
The current series we watch all the time as i have a young child who watches and re-watches it, we also watch the older cartoon series often. Neither feature over the top crude behavior. The turtles movies were racier, i missed out on same of the jokes as i was innocent ish, though those jokes too seem innocent…
Well i hope you enjoy it :D and i honestly hope that it is better than i am feeling its going to be.
This looks so good. I am really hoping they don't cut any of the troubling stuff that everyone's been hinting at. I am way to invested in this but i want it pure and awful just like the zombie apocalypse would be.
I don't appreciate my views being reduced to "what about the children" BS. My older kids have seen Bay films, i skip them, my youngest is to young. It is all good that they make the movies they choose to make and i choose whether i want to watch, want to complain or whatever.
Yeah, they are. But they are also characters who could have been written differently. They chose to write them like this, I am choosing to complain as I am a fan of Turtles in general and would have loved for a movie done better.
So it is arguable whether the partial nudity numbers are apt. However I think most people would have to agree that women are underrepresented in film. That roles for women are generally more sexual than roles for men. That there are more male protagonists than female.
Really? First google response for me was a stupid Upworthy infograph with roughly the same numbers http://www.upworthy.com/13-of-women-wi… The inforgraph was created by the New York Film Academy http://www.nyfa.edu/film-school-bl…. Definitely not a scientific paper but reasonably reliable all the same.
Well there is no worry about that because I also exist in the real world and have interactions with many people that are whomever they are and act however they choose to act everyday.
I disagree.
Because "Michael Bay" i am not surprised. But i am still going to complain loudly for several reasons. These oggly shots and reduction of female characters to eye candy is becoming more prevalent in action films and if we don't push back i can't expect it to ever change. Females see more movies than males and yet the…
I am "seriously feminist" (not sure where extreme comes in, do i have to apply somewhere to be an Extreme Feminist, cause it sounds kinda cool) and try to surround myself with similar thinkers, but i know more people on Tumblr so they can follow porn gifs posters than people involved in social justice on there.…
I am a woman, 30ish, and whether or not this movie was made for me (realistically anything Michael Bay made aint made for me) I am still going to complain loudly about this. I watched the original series, bought it in boxed DVD, watched the original trilogy (own it too) watch the current series and have introduced my…
Some excellent ones have already been listed here like Game of Thrones, Buffy, Lost and Star Trek Next Gen.
I think that the school/teams/Mr. Winston's decision to not have him speak to the press after it was announced that he wouldn't be charged brought forth this situation. A reporter should ask the questions that the people want to hear about, this was the first opportunity to do such, this is an expected event.
This here is a way better song. I presume they sampled it?.. though this video's use of magical native ideas/visuals etc is problematic IMO.
@AuntBeast: I heard he's a White German Shepherd and she's named him Mate. Supposedly family got him for her cause dad also has a German Shepherd.
@femme-bot: Thanks for the link, I emailed them and shared my disappointment in their choices. I am also telling friends and family about this.
