I think he meant that the source material was already "HBO-ized" by the fact that, well, GRRM's saga has plenty of sex, blood, swearing, treachery, and pretty much everything that makes cable TV and HBO what it is. They won't need to "wild things up", a bit like "Rome", they didn't need to adapt the decadence of the

I'm actually reading "A Game of Thrones", the first novel of the saga and I must say it is the most thrilling saga I've read since "The Hyperion Cantos". I'm halfway into it now, and even if I know some spoilers, I'm addicted.

Because I wouldn't be able to take it. I've had the biggest crush on Cobie Smulders ever since I started watching HIMYM, 6 years ago. And the thought of seeing her impersonating Wonder Woman would kill me instantly.

So it's "Twilight" with actually hot chicks? Not that whiny thing who wants to be turned by that other whiny thing?

@Damob: The dude is worse in movies than in tv. He helped create "The OC", which was the teen drama show of my youth (and opened my mind to a lot of new music), "Supernatural", which is to me one of the awesomest show on tv right now (or ever) and "Chuck"... mostly known to me as "That show that made Yvonne Strahovski

No "Despicable Me"???

Great article!

@John Eusebio: Go see "Love and the Other Drugs", that is sexual enough. I was really suprised how sensual she was, far from the Disney-ish girl she once was. Now she's become a woman and she assumes it. She was actually... really hot.

That makes me hungry. No, really. I'm a total "Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal" when it comes to pistachios.

That quote reminds me of what Webster (a former US Secretary of State) said about the "Caroline case" during the XIXth century, which is the "first" case of preemptive war/strike as studied by International Law.

Take the "Papous", or some aboriginal society from South America/Oceania and watch them run? That will pretty much give us the answer.

Why is Pellegrino playing half the bad boys on any sci-fi TV? I mean, alright, the guy is awesome, but he's already Rita's violent ex-husband in "Dexter", Lucifer in "Supernatural", and now in that show?

@Clutchman83: Of course If your references are Euro pop and Linkin Park nobody would expect you to appreciate it.

"Splice", really? I mean, the only character that was "Okay" in that movie was Adrian Brody's, 'cause this guy rocks.

For all I know, that movie about "survivors" might just be "Cloverfield", except we didn't even knew the source of the monsters in that movie.

First reaction seeing that picture: "Oh, The Shrike now has a spaceship!" (as refering to "The Hyperion Cantos").

Was I the only one who couldn't help but see Star Wars and Nazi Germany at every corner in this movie? Oh, wait! So basically Star Wars is Nazi Germany meets Spaceships meets the force, and now that movie... Jeff Bridges was a Jedi, who could control mind of "mindless troopers" and who really rocked. He was a poor

@Murray Hewitt: I'm actually about to finish the first season of "Mad Men" - can't wait to start season 2 - a pretty good show, clever, funny, real, and disturbing on how women were treated and, I guess, still are. But, in "The Walking Dead" defence, it's only 6 episodes old. It took me 4 months to get through the

@Meldrick: The fact that Ts-19 died and then turned into a zombie doesn't mean it's a virus. It just proved that when she died, she came back as a walker. The bite caused the death, and maybe that's what the blood test detects. It doesn't tell if your infected (cause everybody is), but it does tell if you've been
