The Renault-derived AMC passenger cars poisoned the market for Renault cars.  The Alliance sold very well, and every one made an enemy instead of a friend.

Companies like Google and Apple literally don’t have anything better to do with their profits.  All of their best ideas already are on the market.  Spending to execute their worse ideas is kinda dumb.  So they sit on the cash, and maybe buy back their own stock.

Those teams are a combined 96 games under .500 since 2001 and have played about 120 of those games against the New England Belichicks.
