Sure, that’s how most of of us would react, but how many of us actually have a family name to sully? They are ladies and lords of House Kardashian, and we’re all just Hot Pie from Fleabottom. It’s fair that they may have additional considerations.

What really offends me is that I can’t tell if Searyl is supposed to be pronounced like “Cheryl” or like “Cyril.” Kreative spelling sucks.

It’s also foolish to attempt to cotton wool them from genders and sexuality identification when they get to school and will immediately be ostracised as they won’t be “he” or “she” but “it/they” which is really going to single them out.

I actually think this is silly and super performative on the mom’s part. Acknowledging your baby’s apparent biological sex doesn’t mean gender norms or even a gender has to be forced on them. If everything looks standard down below, as the vast majority of genitals do, you can tell what sex the kid is with great

May be just my style as a dad, but my daughter was listed as a girl on her BC. But if she decides or realizes that her gender does not match her sex, I will support that decision. My wife and I balance out clothing best we can, my girl may be a princesses one day and wear “boys” clothes the next, because too many

I don’t suppose it matters on the birth certificate, but it does seem a little foolish to just pretend sex has no relationship to health. You don’t need to force anything on a child, but that is medically necessary information regardless of what gender, if any, the child identifies with.

Isn’t that kind of sad that he felt he had to dump a white woman because his own people would shit on his image? I’m actually really intrigued by the Tupac letters because he really was a brilliant mind and didn’t get enough credit for it at the time.

Didn’t say you needed permission. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think it’s a mistake to judge and criticize the people who are pressured into misogynistic beauty standards rather than the system which pressures them. On a macro level, sure, criticize those beauty standards. But on an individual level? Let people do them sans judgment.

My friend had a cat named Sir. It’s a very cute name for a cat. Not so much for a person.

So you want to tell me if someone’s resume came in with the name Sir/Baron/King/Queen/Lord/ Countess etc at the top you wouldn’t make any assumptions about this person’s character?

Oh fuck off, Sheesh.

Aren’t 90% of those stage names? (Also, Missy is a nickname for Melissa, not a title.)

I’d name my kid “boss” so I get it. I like names like that though. Major, sir, Captain, Boss. It appeals to my “get shit done” side. Lol.

My sister in law calls my nephew mister. It’s super cute.

Jermaine Jackson named his son Jermajesty. That beats everything.

Or a tuxedo cat

My mother was a first grade teacher for many years. She once had a student whose first name was Mr.

Money grab is a hard accusation to fling at someone who’s just lost her spouse. Also, consider this: when someone dies as the result of an auto (or other type) of accident, insurance companies often file suit on behalf of the victim. When I was a kid, a teenage boy was on a church trip which involved a hayride and was

She was at fault in a fatal accident. Fuck your money grab accusation bullshit.
