Wisconsin? Wisconsin elected Scott Walker, managed to get a recall, and elected him again. It has also presented us with Paul Ryan. Wisconsin is the Texas of the north.

Okay, so Let’s separate and you can finally have a republican president elected both by popular vote and by archaic electoral college. Something you haven’t had since 1988.
Gee, that’s funny. You’re so clever! Did you come up with that joke yourself? You should be a writer. I’m going to sip my latte in my Volvo and cry liberal tears, I’m so burned by your rapier wit.
There’s nothing stopping these guys from taking jobs with non-profits or, in the case of many of them, going back to law work.
Most of the major population centers are in blue states that is how the federal government makes its money to create and pay for all the subsidies that most of the red states need to survive farm aid Medicare ect.
While you “yass queen” people were spending money buying ads in Georgia and dreaming of blue Texas, your “extremely well qualified candidate” couldn’t even win Michigan or Wisconsin and your ideology has led to the total collapse of the Democratic Party at the state and federal level.
Funny, he doesn’t LOOK Philadelphian.
There is a serious structural problem here, though, which is that once your career is done in the halls of power (as Mook’s probably is) the only way to make a living is by peddling your connections. You can do that as a lobbyist (of which there are better and worse flavors) or a consultant, or whatever.

Can we seriously talk about separating the states now? I mean, can the country seriously handle another election where a republican is elected against the will of the people? Wouldn’t we be happier, healthier and stronger in California, Oregon, Washington, New England and New York, if we were free of the oppressive…
“a look at why Trump won” = “why Hillary lost” = “a fish rots from the head”
You know I usually don’t hate on a pig for rolling in shit, but teaming up with Lewandowski is just—come fucking on!
I’m shocked, SHOCKED, that a Clinton acolyte is enriching himself at the expense of the nation.
What I actually mean is that she will erode the educational system further to increase and reinforce systemic income inequality and racial inequality, segregation, food insecurity and hunger, illiteracy, etc. And these stresses tend to have a huge impact on achievement and increase the achievement gap, which can…
Lately I find that I’m angry all the time. To the point that I forget why and I stop and wonder what I’m angry about. And then I remember that president trump is destroying america/our democracy and all of our lives.
Of all the cabinet picks, aside from perhaps the EPA chief, she has the capacity to do the most permanent damage, because we’re talking about an entire generation of kids who will be affected, at least.
Here in RI, a lot of those building trades unions supported our governor when she ran 2 years ago. She is a DINO who screwed over the pension system when she was treasurer. The NEA in RI supported Clay Pell (Claiborne’s grandson). Sadly, she won a 3 way primary and barely won the general (the 3rd party candidate…
Such a brave woman. Will there be no marches for the egged; for the persecuted lawyers and Goldwater-Reagan-George W. Bush girls? Have we no compassion for victims of breakfast food assault? Will we be so keen on turning a blind eye when the scalding hot Toaster Strudel icing starts flying, or when the bacon grease is…
