Jesus stated the majority of people would be tortured in hell for eternity. What kind of mercy is that, exactly?

Maybe if you’re reading cherry picked quotes. Jesus was a scholar of the Old Testament and upheld its legitimacy. You ever read the Old Testament?

You're being sarcastic, but both historically and scripturally hatred is a core element of Christianity.

Jesus explicitly stated that all the old laws were to be followed, so any Christians who don't follow the entirety of the Old Testament are pretty bad Christians. Or hypocrites, or idiots.

AIDS is part of God’s plan.

This is like a living metaphor of the Republican Party and the majority of their voters.

I think it's beyond a mistake. It's pretty unforgivable. This is an excellent, balanced take on it, though.

I mean, Lachlan and Kai are common names outside the US. Austin in unquestionably terrible, though.

Rey isn’t a Mary Sue by any stretch, but the film’s lack of interest in developing any of its characters or their relationships probably makes it easier to see it that way.

I thought the lightsaber battles were actually really believable.

Deterrence is a myth.

You can’t know how you would feel. Have you ever murdered someone? Have you ever talked to anyone who has done it? Are you just going to ignore the destructive domino effect of revenge on society?

And Lindt makes much better chocolate bars, which tells you something else.

Because it tastes good. This isn't a new thing, either. There's even a mediocre Johnny Depp movie about it from 2000.

I don’t think “bean to bar” tastes like a specific thing. That the entire process is in one person’s hands doesn't mean it was made well or is tasty.

This story makes me want to brutally torture that man to death, but if it were in my power to do so I would not do it. Because it’s unethical and serves no purpose to society. It’s ok to feel that way, but it’s not ok to believe doing it is justified.

- I said entirely military.

Why not demonstrate the bomb on an uninhabited area or an entirely military target?

It’s sad that suggesting mass murder might not be justified qualifies as trolling to you.
