Yep, you get pretty good quality mulled wine from most supermarkets in England. I've yet to taste one that's too cloying on the tongue though I am partial to honeyed bourbon so it's possible my palate veers a little (just a pinch, I promise) towards the saccharine.

I buy up a fuckton of bottles after the Christmas season when they're MASSIVELY marked down and drink it at my leisure (read: scarf down half a dozen bottles WHENEVER THE HELL I WANT) through the year :)
