I worked from home for 11 years, my son and daughter would listen to music daily up until I sent them off to Kindergarten, specifically SiriusXM. Instead of having latchkey TV drones, I would play the music in the background for hours while I would switch between work and daddy day care.

Service Dept fail - standard practice is to have a flammable material locker. We use them in all our shops, painted yellow with big red words “FLAMMABLE MATERIAL”. If a staff member doesn’t want to use it? Ok, I’ll write them up and can result in loss of pay, etc.

Yeah - I find it hard to have light banter with people I know, especially neighbors and coworkers.
