So back to my answer of kids:

This was many years ago but I had taken my then new 1996 Z28 convertible. The first new car I had ever bought in to have the rear bumper fixed after some old lady had hit me at a traffic light.

And the shop tells you "don't worry I'm sure your insurance will cover it".

These things. They’re so bad, we banished them from the car to the kitchen floor so we could work on behavioral simulations. No, not really. We had to clean the seats.

You deserve some kind of award. We dumped our 2004 at 166k, soon after a $2k repair caused by a blown oil cooler housing gasket. Later, I made the horrible decision to kill a weekend and my lower back replacing the $20 coolant flange + o-ring at the back of the engine. I did not have the time to deal with the

Early 2000’s Passat? (^_^)

With an..

  1. Buy a junkyard car at any location. It doesn’t have to run. (Free to $300?)

The Fox Body Mustang...

Obligatory.

Situationally dependent. But considering my level of inebriation at the time of said encounter, most likely.

That was an unbelievable battle.

Nailed it. That seldom gets enough credit and it is one of the many reasons why I love the show; the cinematography and editing are peerless.

AND their editing and post-production team. Seriously top-notch. The way they show off cars was far better than even the auto manufacturers. Always original, never boring, and very inspirational.

The Stig is standing stoically next to the Top Gear test track as "All By Myself" plays in the background.

Solution to the touchscreen problem: stop fucking using touchscreens. I do not, under any circumstances, need a video screen taking up half my dashboard.

Also scary, but for different reasons...

That's fine. I call main gun.
