the last apple 27" display was a godsend in a sea of cheap ugly and poor performing monitors, these days, you can get far better monitors, for 1/3 the cost.

the m1 mba is a good machine, epsc when it was on sale last year for as low as $750, but dang does the chassis feel outdated.

Problem is, every other laptop that has a nice chassis that can compete performance wise cost 2x as much.
