Except the RS would have AWD, a stronger engine and transmission from the factory and have a real warranty. I have heard people say modifying a GTI and WRX over a Golf R or WRX STI would be better use of money but I would rather have the car come built up from the factory with a warranty.

It'll be under $40K, or you'd be a fool to buy it over the STI.

I'm sure for 35 grand you can also take a fox body (car included) and make it into something that would blow the 2015 GT out of the water as well.

More people in one vehicle en route to work = less cars on the road with one person in them (designed to carry up to 4 or 5) = less congestion = less metropolitan pollution.

Carpool, buses, bikes since most of us don't want to be stuck in traffic?

This is why the RS has never been offered in the US. "I'm not paying $XXX for a FOCUS!!! They're highly contented, high performance vehicles. They're not cheap. Europe gets that, so they are offered the car. For some reason in the US, the customer expects this car to be cheap because it's small. We're really

It's not as simple as you want to make it. There are plenty of people who are busting ass and earning wages that are below what is required to have a decent future. America suffers from very poor social mobility relative to nations with similar resources. If you're born poor, you're most likely going to stay poor

US/Canadian production is complicated and expensive. Shale/Sand do not surrender their bounty easily. I have seen some stats that show leases being abandoned and new development slowing. When prices go back up, it is not like we just turn the spigot back on. It will take years to ramp up production again.

While this number may go up, you gotta give credit to Reuters for fucking nailing it, but you can also understand why they didn’t make a big deal out of it yesterday. I think everyone hoped they were wrong, that so many people didn’t die for a part that cost a few dollars. It’s tawdry to gloat about being right about

You know you can get the i3 with a gas tank right?

Funny realization... The articles about supercars tease most people with things they can never afford. These Ranger articles tease us with something we can afford but can't have.

That's what everyone said about Toyota when they launched the full size Tundra. They were wrong.

It all comes down to pricing. If VW thinks they can sell a van or truck for twice the cost of some of the competition (which is what they tried with the last Eurovan they tried to sell here) just because of that VW badge and 'Euro marketing', it most likely will be a failure.

I don't know if "most" don't want to wait. I think many people don't know that ordering is an option. Along with this, many dealers don't like to take orders. Plus some manufactures cut orders off really early in the model year, which makes it difficult, too.

It would still mostly say the same things, just less inflammatory. The dealer's association's stance isn't even traditionally conservative.

Elon Musk and Tesla just don't think the rules should apply to them.

Can't take the noise? MOVE.

I'm waiting for "Herbie Sets a 'Ring Time".

So 64kV are being recalled. (sorry I'm an engineer)
