[james may voice] CLARKSON!

I'm sure they can pound sheet metal to make it fit a panel on a vehicle, but in order for that part to be dimensional correct, repeatable, and within tolerance to what was designed, would be far far more time consuming if done by hand.

One guy who had a crush on me in jr high actually got a teacher to ask me to a dance on his behalf. I said no, told my parents, and they raised some holy hell with the administration. Because teachers should never, ever use their authority to pressure students like that.

The girl was being stalked and it probably made her feel very uncomfortable. If little mister gets his feelers hurt from being stalked by kids who refuse to listen to him tell them to go away I would call that both a college level life lesson and karma. My sympathy is with the girl.

As a high school teacher, I watch relentless pursuits on a regular basis. As I much as I feel sympathy for young people in the throes of unrequited love, I will personally intervene if I witness harassing behaviors. Just had to gently, but firmly, ban a kid from coming to my class in any hour that wasn't the one in

It's safer for riders and better for traffic yet your tiny little bit of bitchy angst is a counterpoint?

never ridden a motorcycle, but lanesplitting seems like common sense. It surprised me the first couple times it happened when driving in CA, but got used to it quickly.

Insane. It just baffles me how idiotic this country is about lane-splitting. It's safer, it alleviates traffic, it's of zero consequence to motorists...

One of these days, I'm going to go off the deep end of my high stress job and, not jump though a window, but buy a BMW bike and ride all the way to Patagonia and through. It has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. This would be a civilized second place dream.

With a Multistrada? I'd do the hell out of that.

Were it not a Harley and were American citizens allowed, this would be my dream.

Right, which is why I compared like to like. Different dealers have different incentives, a fact that was also true in 2009.

Really? I do every time I park a manual. Parking brakes wear out over time. The transmission will hold the car in the even of a parking brake failure.

This comment is hilarious. I'm amazed at what people will freak out over on the 'net.

If you would've taken the time to read the article, you would have found that not only was the plane manufactured in Brazil, but is owned and operated by a Brazilian company. It is completely Brazilian. Some might say, its a Brazilian plane. The reason for the Union Jack is to to honor England for their order of many

I'm one of those people who will pay a little more and buy new cars or nearly new cars, rely on the warranty and take it to the dealer or a trustworthy shop for service. I work three jobs, I'm married, have a two year old and another on the way. There are simply not enough hours in the day for me to spend wrenching on
