I’m not on Twitter, so I’m not sure about the terms and conditions, but can’t they shut down his account? For the greater good of the planet?

I tried to make that point in a different thread as well. Marathons as a singular event may not be that great for us, but they’re the capstone event in a training cycle and not by any means a regular occurrence within that cycle. While the act of racing a marathon may not be particularly healthy, the training cycle…
First off, just because you write an article it doesn’t mean the information is correct. All of this has been proven wrong so many times before. None of this happens if you train adequately and follow basic safety guidelines.
doing marathons is a good idea when doing marathons is something you want to do because you enjoy doing marathons.
Everything you just said is complete bullshit.
Running doesn’t cause damage to the body. In fact, the human body was designed to run. Only junk science claims that. It doesn’t and never has caused joint or organ damage. Joint damage only occurs when running from wearing improper shoes. Also, I’ve never heard that calory claim before. Do you have a reputable link…
I’m maybe (actually, “probably”) giving Barkley too much credit here, but I took his comments to mean “we shouldn’t be sitting here looking in at his grief. It’s wrong, this guy needs to be with his family, not thrust into being a spectacle for thousands in person, and millions on TV.” Which is how I felt. Maybe he…
And his kids are in school. Unless their spring breaks line up and are more than a week long, they aren’t with him.
My Dad grew up in eastern Kentucky, about 80 miles up Highway 27 from Frozen Head. He ran all through high school, and even got a cross country scholarship to a school in North Carolina. Like most people from rural Kentucky, going to college 200 miles away was about 195 miles too far, so he dropped out, came back,…
This is . . . pretty stupid
Knocked out that rumor before it elevated to the next level.
“The reason why I’m not playing football, you do the dots,” Rice said, per ESPN. “It ain’t because I’m a bad football player. That’s just keeping it real. I’m never giving up and never giving in.”
To require someone to be patriotic is fundamentally un-American. The freedom to publicly state, I am ashamed of my country is the most American thing there is, from the very start of this nation. This is the same mistake made 50 years ago punishing the American act of protest, to make America better.
This is good kinja.
I enjoyed this comment very much.
Still got nothing on the best do-you-know-who-I-am-comeuppance of all time.
Having spent 7 years working in a steakhouse, I can attest that there are exactly two kinds of adults who eat steak like this:
I have lamented on more than one occasion that it’s nearly impossible to tell someone you like their skin without sounding like a murderer.
What in gods name is the point of this story? Yeah, he had a bad year on the field and off the field. So did other people. What is the point of taking all those low points and putting out a summary without a larger purpose?
What is this article? This has nothing about the Cardinals losing a baseball game.
