Ok. I’m just saying that the cheerleaders I know who lost hair couldn’t manage that. Everyone who lost hair had super curly hair and even thought they had it up, it constantly got caught on things. I am for real not trying to be belligerent. This is my life experience.

I don’t disagree with you on the first part. Up and tight meant a bun or a very, very short ponytail in my groups. People weren’t allowed long ponytails, and long meant anywhere past the top of the neck.

For peopke with long, curly hair, “up and tight” often means they have to straighten or relax their hair to get it up and tight.

I’m gonna be that person. Her hair is gorgeous, and she is 11, yes, but as someone who was a competitive cheerleader in middle school, high school and at university, hair that isn’t up and tight is a safety hazard. I have seen people get huge chunks of hair pulled out during stunts because they didn’t follow the hair…
