"Capture a dead wight"…heh heh. As opposed to all of the live ones out there.
I somewhat like how each Bond film is a product of its time and clearly identifiable by the decade. It can certainly age them, but in that time-capsule way.
Agreed. Fantastic Cold War setting, and has aged surprisingly well.
The sword fight is under-rated, IMHO. Stephens really sold his characters hatred of Bond in that scene.
I've said it before, but the Brosnan/Bean fight in the sat dish at the end of Goldeneye is one of the best fight scenes out there.
Livejournal…bless his cold dark little heart.
Totally. The aesthetic was such a shameless BSG ripoff, even right down to the camera work.
Arby's doesn't judge. Arby's doesn't care. Eat Arby's.
"There is a tactile satisfaction, I think, that is part of our humanity". That's just about the most pretensious quote I have ever heard in a documentary. Why do folks always refer something to our "humanity" to sound intelligent?
I've always viewed Walmart as the store everyone loves to hate on one day, while secretly shopping there the next.
Agree - this film is pushing 20 years and still has better effects that some stuff that comes out now.
…and god-forbid anyone curse on TV.
Please no :-(. One of the best parts of both films is how the world building is not spoon-fed to the audiences. It's just a maturely assumed part of the universe that John Wick lives in
Get Psyched!
Pretty much the end of Josh Hartnett's career.
Excessive melodrama has a fairly big presence within Asian cinema.
Steve Bannon. Hot or not?
Yeah, probably. It was more the part when the American investigators arrive at the blast site and basically accuse the Saudi's of being totally incompetent at their jobs. I mean, maybe the Saudi's are not great detectives…I really don't know, but it just scream arrogance to state that only USA investigators know…
The Middle Ages was a terrible time to be alive…no amount of Heath Ledger can change that.
