Personally, I fucking hated Pod, and I'm a soft touch when it comes to horror movies. It's so in love with itself and thinks it's so fucking clever and tense, but it's just three people yelling at each other while a camera zooms all over the fucking place. There's all this talk and buildup to this monster that's

That's pretty much my list, plus Hellcat and Silver Surfer.

The Chris Rock ep at least had Chris Rock doing standup.

It's frustrating that people don't get that this was a terrible episode deserving an F, AND it had Trump in it. It's like Bob in the Mr. Show sketch where he doesn't understand that he was kicked out of the band for being a terrible drummer and just blames it on losing his arm. https://youtu.be/AckxOWz868…

I see what you're saying, but this episode really was terrible no matter what your opinion of Trump is. The monologue, White House sketch, and tweeting sketch were unbearable, with the tweeting sketch in particular being one of the most stilted, awkward, and unfunny things SNL has ever done. If SNL's goal was to

I'm a die-hard Marvel fan to an almost irrational degree and I don't give a flying fuck about the Inhumans.

Even by the low, low bar that SNL already sets, last season was dismal and this season has been even worse. So no.

Stu has been my favorite since the Mirrors episode.

4 was the first MGS I played through in entirety, and it's probably my least favorite now that I've played the others. It's just so bogged down with wrapping up plot threads and characters from the first three games, and there's so much to keep track of that anything you do when you're actually playing the game feels

He's talking about the team picture in the top right-hand corner of the box, not the bottom right image which just shows all of the characters in the set.

I chose not to shoot Lee on a purely practical level. Shooting Lee does teach Clem how to be strong, but it also wastes a bullet and makes lots of noise. Plus, Lee has one arm and it's chained to a radiator. He's no threat as a walker. Double plus, by this point in my game Clem had already killed a guy. She didn't

Yeah, I loved Jurassic Park the book and was really disappointed by Lost World. I was also mad that Ian Malcolm's death got nonsensically handwaved.

[SPOILERY] I read an interview with the devs where they pretty much say that the only truly moral choice is to stop playing, just leave the characters at an impasse. If you continue, hoping that your actions will eventually be justified and you'll become a hero, you're complicit in the horrible stuff that you do.

That's crazy talk. Eva Green gives by far the best performance. Jessica Alba isn't even close.

The difference between that line and most Bond movies, though, is that you're supposed to be shocked. I love Casino Royale in part because it isn't at all interested in pretending that Bond is a good role model or a decent person. It's the story of an amoral asshole who gets a chance at redemption but loses it.

Goon is pretty great.

The finale of True Detective did not feature an appearance by Cthulthu, like I guess everyone was hoping.

Good Try, Internet!

Buzzfeed ran an article on the 9/11 museum that was pretty good. Not as many gifs.

Agreed on Goldblum. He's the Jack Sparrow of JP. He's an entertaining part of an ensemble, but as the hero of his own adventure he isn't very interesting.
