The parallel bars thing is a lot dumber.

"Thanks, Coach, for screaming in my face with total disregard for my health or safety because Jesus or something. In almost any other movie, this would be a scene setting up the villain, but you're a Christian so this is totally inspiring."

I fucking hate Empire Records.

I've only seen this scene from Facing the Giants, but I think it's fucking hilarious. It's like a parody of a bad sports movie (which I'm assuming applies to the rest of the film).

God, you just reminded me of what a letdown the end of Death of the Family was.

I think it's Another Thin Man, and yeah, the sudden transformation is ridiculous and hilarious (probably only partially on purpose).

I enjoy them all, especially After the Thin Man. Maybe it's because I was a dumb kid when I saw it, but I had no idea who the killer was until the very end (I do appreciate that they give you more of a chance to figure it out than The Thin Man does).

I think She-Hulk would be better as a TV series actually. Dan Slott's run seems ready-made for a Whedon-produced series.

Just about anything was bound to be disappointing after Rixty Minutes. Rixty Minutes is so brilliant I want to keep it in a display case.

Hobbes is totally real, you monster.

I was obsessed with those collections, and to his credit, Jim Davis can draw some pretty amusing sight gags.

Safe Haven is fantastic. V/H/S 2 overall is a big improvement on the first movie, but Safe Haven is such a great piece that you almost feel embarrassed for the other entries.

I remember reading the Sam Hamm script when it was floating around a few years back and being unimpressed with that ending. Even worse was the opening, which was a pretty typical superhero cold open with "The Watchmen" going off to stop some bomber at the statue of liberty. Most annoying of all, Rorschach survives and

It's pretty okay.

THANK YOU

Where the heck did Wolverine get his leather jacket!

If Guardians is a hit, it might encourage studios to go in a weirder direction with their superhero movies. Or just Marvel Studios, who seems to be the only studio interested in doing something new and different with the genre.

Spacey sings Petula Clark for her?

I'm not going to bitch about Jordan and Mara being siblings, except to say that it would have been pretty progressive if Sue was also played by a black actor.

Not to be pedantic, but Blackadder and Baldrick survive in season 3.
