A 911 with a radiator is not a 911! A Mustang with 5 gears is not a Mustang! A Camaro without a bemulleted driver is not a Camaro!

Goddammit, GM... will you hurry up and take my money already???

I used to run with music, now I never do. My reasons for stopping were originally practical (I find it difficult to listen to something and not get into a cadence with it, so either the beat has to be very carefully chosen or you have to use one of those cadence-adjustment apps and they generally all fall down in one

Wow! It looks completely different from how I thought it would look!

His *Harvard* pennant?

Internet randos: No American company will ever charge several hundred thousand for a mid-engined supercar!

Apparently the groom knows guys who are really into cars. :P

I’ve seen one of these in the wild, amazingly:

The firm said in a research note that Tesla’s Model 3 sedan is a “proven hit” and serious competition from other automakers for the plug-in car market has not materialized, marking a sharp reversal from its previous stance.

Cool. Now check the rate of hip surgeries and knee replacements in my parents’ 55-and-over community, on top of their rates of cardiac, diabetic and other inactivity-related health issues.

This.

“500,000 miles.”

I know what they’re trying to get at. It’s the same phenomenon that causes my S4 to feel quicker in casual driving than my Cayman S, even though they both make 340hp, the S4 loses more at the wheels from the AWD system, and the S4 outweighs the Cayman by about 700lbs 1,000lbs.

Has anyone captured photo evidence that the construction of the lift and associated terminal apparatus is well under way? If not, then they’re going to start and finish it in under 50 days?

Today I realized that the arrival of the Taycan will roughly coincide with my trusty S4 wagon needing the dreaded timing chain job.

Good lord, that seems so absurd that I didn’t think it could be possible, and yet the internet tells me you’re correct...

DCT for track time, every time. I’m like a broken record on this, but that’s because it’s true: all but the best of the best drivers will perform better on the track with a modern DCT than a manual, and they’ll avoid catastrophic mis-shifts to boot.

Love the Alfa 4C suggestion.

Take my money, damn it!

Imagining the conversation if I rolled up on that thing with a “for sale” sign...
