Yep, you got me, this is a totally biased anti-tesla review in which I say “For the vast majority of American commuters, there isn’t a better daily back-and-forth commuter car”

Agreed. My rental was the same red as the one pictured above, and it was top trim so it had all the shiny bits without overdoing it. It was about $10k more car than I was used to, but I wouldn’t trade my Mazda for it

Had one of these as a rental.  That car is a sleeper...handles well and the V6 had a ton of power.  I opened it up on a long straightaway on US 50 in Nevada and I went from 75 to 120 mph in a flash.  Awesome car at the wrong time...deserved a better fate than being passed over for SUVs.

Why? That looks a high schoolers rendering after a few weeks using blender

The cop car is always parked to shield the COP in the event someone gets too close. The idea is that they will see and avoid the cop car but maybe not the officer on foot. This is why the cop car is staggered out.

Would you really want your body to be the left-most object in the breakdown lane? Cops park their cars so far over because even human drivers are pretty bad at not hitting them.

One can’t make data from individual incidents but it seems like there is a pattern here. Tesla’s “camera only” approach to safety systems seems flawed. Is it the multicolor markings of emergency vehicles that’s messing with the Tesla system? Or is it just overall bad and it just gets the headlines when it’s an

You fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders:

1 - Never get involved in a land war in Asia
2 - Never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line
3 - Never argue logic with a Florida Man

“It’s a character that the vast majority of the universe has never heard of before played by an unknown.”

Big difference between 65 on highway and 70. -20 F range is about half

I don’t really care about how far it can go in a “daily drive”. I’m not going more than a relative handful of miles daily, then parking it in my garage to charge presumably. I want to know how far the thing will reasonably go at 80mph on the highway, because THAT is the number that really counts when you are trying to

This is why I don’t give to random Go Fund Mes. Folks mean well and there’s so many people out here eager to take advantage.

I’m not even 40 though. Just grew up watching MWC with my family.

Shut down the thread.

So that’s why he’s called Winnie the Pooh.

When even U-Haul is trying to tell you that moving to Texas is a mistake.

It’s to make up for the fact that now U-Haul has to pay to get the truck back to the original city where it’s in demand, instead of having a bunch of trucks in a city where nobody is leaving.

It’s not there just to fuck people over, it’s there because it’s more expensive for U-Haul to provide those kinds of rentals.

Her route includes 6 days and all miles in the quote, along with a hefty $1300 one-way the wrong way surcharge.
