I always thought of that show as being set in the South Pacific pre-WWII. Or the version of that from novels and adventure comics.

We don’t get it here because we are a country of inept drivers who feel more secure in giant, shitty, ugly crossovers and SUVs that are about as fun to drive as a horse and buggy...
By making their cars slightly less reliable they estimate that they will be in the shop for at least 20% of your ownership period, extensive consultation with FCA have made this possible
Omg THIS. Rows of MRc/Tamiya and Kyosho sets priced far beyond my 10 year old budget.
The first time I ever saw a Brat was circa 1986 in NZ...it was somewhat smaller, but I still wanted one.
Half as bad as the gasoline powered cars that are (so called) destroying the environment isn’t really a huge improvement.
Thank you for writing this! The total emissions of the two are actually closer than I expected, but I’m glad someone has finally done a full, detailed report. For a long time, every attempt at comparing the two I could find would completely ignore the production of the gasoline, then proclaim them to be on near-equal…
Does anyone else find it interesting that the plane uses the same colors as..... THE RUSSIAN FLAG???!!!
I bet this plane will disperse chemtrails all over the flat earth too!
Up next.. Trump mandates Amtrak use the same RUSSIAN colors on their trains.
Never underestimate a mini cooper’s ability to torment you. Sure, it’s a cute little car with a spunky turbo motor, but underneath that bonnet is a never ending source of frustration just waiting for a warranty to expire.

When I’ve done the night before booking, I’ve run into cancellations since you haven’t arrived by 1/2/3/4am depending on hotel. At some point they assume you’re not coming and cancel you. I recommend calling ahead before leaving to let them know you’ll be arriving in the morning, not the previous night.
The air itself is moving at 260mph. You can then add 540mph+ on top of that without worrying about breaking “Mach 1" since the relative speed of the plane vs the air is the actual limit for when it starts breaking up, as it’s not exceeding the air’s ability to move away in front of the plane in time before the…
The 747 has an incredibly high wing sweep compared to other subsonic airliners. It really doesn’t have anything to do with the weight. Since it’s introduction, it’s been one of the fastest sub-sonic passenger aircraft.
I think because the heavier planes have to have a higher cruising speed.
Such an amazingly thorough detail job would be more interesting on an old Lamborghini Miura.
How does this article not mention the new LS? That thing is a space ship from the future, and if I were a rich white geezer I’d go with that over the S, 7, or A8 in a heartbeat. Look at this thing!
Seriously, in a few years there will be more Purosangues on the road than any other Ferrari.
It’s basically printing your own money at this point.
“...create an SUV nobody wants...”
I just hope for a similar compromise.
