Are these basically what powers those Big Black Deltas that people keep seeing? Usually crap like this is a way to normalize something which then is revealed, such as the stealth fighters or rail guns. 

I have a ton of respect for Tesla. I own a Model 3 and they are miles ahead of anyone else in terms of EV technology.

I own a Model 3. I love my Model 3. I love using autopilot. It is NOT FUCKING SELF DRIVING AND ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE.

I just realized that the worst part of the new Tesla design with no selector for drive direction? Fuck, 3-point turns are going to be a pain in the ass.

It hasn’t yet. it’s still years from production, so you can almost guarantee the design will change once it actually goes through it.

 I would place money that this has not even been through DOT testing yet.

They also could do this because most Ferrari drivers are assholes and don’t use the turn signal stalks.

Apple does this well. However a counterexample of this is apple saddling their laptop with terrible keyboards for thinness, only to revert back to the thicker keyboards because they actually worked.

I have a Model 3- autopilot is so far away from pure self-driving that Tesla is living in a fantasy land if they think they need to be removing interface features at this point.

Apple has returned to their original keyboard design, and apparently is bringing different ports back to their next generation of laptops, and looking at bringing back TouchID, so it shows you that even a company like Apple see the error of its ways. Hopefully Tesla will follow suit, although give that Elon is still…

Absolute design hubris.

That sounds fucking miserable. I have a model 3, I’m not hating to hate. It’s taking straightforward mindless controls and getting rid of them for no good reason. 

Low aspect ratio, oversized runflats. Basically the beasts on every luxury car. Also the most fragile fucking things in the world. One big pothole and that’s the ballgame.

Ok, now we are talking. Range for the US is still a little short, but this will definitely be a hit in Europe. But these are the types of EVs that will start to seriously shift the market.

The irony is just imagine just what Tesla would put their supplier though if a part showed up like this.
