When my brother was in kindergarten he cut his hair the day before picture day. It was the most jacked up thing ever but he loved it so my mom let him leave it that way. he's also missing half his teeth in the photo, it's a gem.

also the david sheldrick wildlife trust. they rescue elephants and rehabilitate orphans (they also take in giraffes, ostriches, rhinos, etc!) and they treat animals in the wild too. i follow them on instagram (@dswt) for my daily dose of elephant adorableness. you can foster an animal and they'll send you pictures!

yeah, the babies were cute, but that little butt wiggler was the real star. I love when Mom finally starts to stir he waddles off for a bit. "Mission accomplished! Nap terminated. I'll be back when my butt itches again."

I always, always take the dollar. Mostly because I don't like bumming out cigarettes and yes I'll take your money. My favorite is when people seem surprised that I'll take the cash. Don't offer if you're not willing to pay!

Tipping cash is increasingly less common these days, so it's really easy to mess with someone's tips. I used to work at a place that was actually really good about it but I'd get my charge tips on a paycheck a week later- shadier places definitely could've fudged things and pocketed my money.
