Maybe he has $9k in other expenses? Paying off the cops? Renting a store front? Buying lunch for his dealer?

I was amazed at how different the book was from the newest movie, didn’t realize there were older movies as well.
My wife is from Saugerties. I’ve never been, but it sounds nice.
The text to speech portions are mostly reading off Twitter memes and stuff. I recognized most of it.
I’m somewhat with it, and on twitch and playing games, but yeah, I don't really understand Roblox.
You criticize the way electricity is generated and yet you have lights in your apartment. Curious. /s for the morons.
Or a shotgun shell! Or a small gas engine, or hand cranking with decompression, or all sorts of fun old stuff.
During my undergrad in electrical engineering with a focus on power engineering and power electronics (DC-DC is considered power electronics). I can’t imagine it’s uncommon in basically any school which has masters or doctorate level electrical engineering degrees. The design of them is really complicated, as you…
You do a lot of drunk driving I guess?
Is it causing more deaths though? Or is that just MUCH easier to prove after the fact? Nobody is testing after the fact to say “this crash was caused by distracted driving cell phone use” in a lot of cases.
My DC-DC convertor class I took as an undergrad (which was actually a Masters level course) for my electric engineering degree was really, really cool. It was one of the courses I enjoyed the most. Taught by an adjunct who actually designed them in industry, including for high power applications.
So it was even more wrong than I gave them credit for. It was twice the temperature (in a scale that I'm not even listing here).
Nitpicking maybe, but saying that 68 degrees is “twice the normal temperature” is not really accurate scientifically, even if people probably knew what you meant. The only way to do multiplication or division or stuff on temperature is to use Kelvin.
I have a Voyager that I think has 3G and Wifi, but I’ve basically never used the 3G. Even if I was somewhere without Wifi, and I hadn’t planned ahead and gotten enough books, I could just hotspot with my phone.
Yep, I’ve tried all that. And she even understands that she’s probably going to get Covid if she doesn’t get the vaccine. I don’t understand her logic at all. I guess because there isn’t any. I keep just hoping it gets bad enough that she’ll do it. I even pointed out the human fallacy of risk where doing nothing seems…
And a blog with a commenting section that actually sort of WORKS. Most blog and article comment sections on the internet are a complete disaster, full of either trolls or morons, or both. This place has always had good commenters, making actually insightful or funny comments, and trolls mostly being ignored and…
It is, it’s just very slow.
As someone else said, I think it’s height from sea level, and it seems to be the common way to measure all of these lakes that they keep talking about. USGS must measure them that way.
I wish I could convince my wife of this. She’s still “I just don’t have a good feeling, there could be some side effects in years that we don’t know about” and all the data and explaining doesn’t help. Even her normally batshit crazy anti-vax pro-woo Vitamin C is what ended measles mom said she should get it, but get…
When it looked like things were getting better we booked a hotel for Disney. Didn’t buy the tickets yet and the hotel is cancellable. Looking more and more likely we’ll have to cancel. FFS people. We could’ve all just been done if we stayed the fuck home for 4 weeks, or everyone wore masks and chilled out for a while,…
