Underground is hella expensive, harder to maintain/upgrade, and makes sense in places that are either very dense or brand new. Very dense or brand new doesn’t describe nearly as much of the US as it does Europe.

It’s honestly kind of insane to start a race in the US at 1 am Eastern time. I understand they care more about their European viewers but man, that’s brutal.
Almost certainly the capacity to hold trash. 6 yards is also a standard dumpster size (it’s the 5x6x6 foot one that you see outside of a restaurant or office building). That’s a decent bit of trash.
The funniest thing is, this isn’t the only place in this article where they confused boats for cars. Read more

For sure. Even in the US marina prices are usually around 10-20% higher than the road (without even accounting for the missing taxes, lol). I’d expect diesel prices in a Marina fancy enough for that boat, on an island in the Caribbean, could easily be $8 a gallon or something, although from my bit of searching, it… Read more
I guess big yachts are too big for shore power to supply them what they need? $2,000 in diesel seems excessive, even paying yacht club prices. I just calculated the electricity though for a 4000sq foot place with lots of windows and in a hot climate with terrible insulation and got like 7200kWh for the day, which even… Read more
I think this is literally the only person who should buy this. Someone with a large enough monetized YouTube channel that they could make money on the purchase by driving this on video.
Yeah, it's obviously the left that's easily triggered, lol. Certainly not the people banning books, getting upset about pronouns in video games, and a billion other examples. Obviously.
Honda charges for their app based remote start. I have to walk downstairs like a pleb to start it from closer to the garage.
Yet again, a bad driver thinks they’re in reverse, is actually in drive, and puts their foot down harder when the thing they expect to happen doesn’t happen. Tale as old as time.
Oh no, Swift get out of there!
And the Eagles have two offensive starters named Kelce and Swift. Coincidence? I think not!
Yeah, an actually desirable actually cool actually classic car, given to an actual astronaut as part of the famous astronaut car giving? That’s totally worth it. Read more
I can’t find it now, but this is very much not hidden in the woods. It’s wide open on both sides, no trees, no obstructions, it’s shortly after turning off the main road, and it leads to just two houses on a dirt road. I’m not sure how you miss a train there.
Yeah, the new aircraft carriers are like $10b, they're the most expensive. But a single B-2 is an insane billion or so including program costs. Nuts. F-35 unit cost is downright cheap, and next unit cost is a bargain.
Yeah. Our Odyssey I can move the seats all over the fucking place. I can't imagine trying to design the restraints so that they work perfectly everywhere. Sometimes they're attached to the seat themselves, but some of them still come from the ceiling, it depends on the row and seat.
I learned to drive on an '86. My dad had an '82, '85 and '86, for my mom, him and me. He had owned numerous other Alfas previous. Not a single one had a second gear synchro left, but as long as you rev match and double clutch down (or just skip it) they're wonderful little cars. If I had the time and space I'd own one… Read more
I’m guessing the thieves swapped the vin on the firewall and door, but didn’t swap it in the computer, so when the dealership hooked up their scanner to check for engine issues and mileage and stuff, they probably caught that it didn’t match.
